How to get to Baron´s Hall

Please note that this year's congress venue, Baron's Hall – Real Companhia da Velha, is not centrally located. To facilitate transportation, we have arranged several shuttle services connecting the venue with key points in the city.

It´s important to mention the correct address to taxi/ Uber drives. If you just mention “The Baron´s Hall” to taxi / Uber drivers they might bring you to another entrance as the aerial is huge. 

Please note that there is NO PARKING available at Baron´s Hall. Arrival via public transportation or using the shuttle transfers provided by EAED is highly recommended. 

Bus Transfer Schedule Porto

Yeatman Hotel –> Baron´s Hall: A dedicated bus service will run continuously between the Headquarter Hotel, the Yeatman Hotel and Baron's Hall, with buses departing every 40 minutes. Please refer to the bus schedule for specific departure and arrival times.

Hilton Hotel –> Baron´s Hall: In the morning/at the start of the congress, a shuttle service will operate from Hilton Porto Gaia to Baron's Hall, and at the end of the day, a transfer will be provided from Baron's Hall to Hilton Porto Gaia. During the day, please utilize shuttles to/from Yeatman Hotel, which is approximately an 8-minute walk from the Hilton. Please refer to the bus schedule for specific departure and arrival times.

City Centre –> Baron´s Hall: Additionally, there will be a shuttle connecting the city centre with Baron's Hall. For those arriving from the city centre by public transportation, a shuttle service will operate from Metro Station "Jardim to Morro" to bring delegates to Baron´s Hall (approximately 5-10 minutes).

For individual arrival, we recommend Uber for traveling around Porto. Please provide drivers with the following address: Rua Azevedo Magalhães, nr 414 - ZIP CODE 4431-952 –  City of Vila Nova de Gaia.

From Baron's Hall -> City Centre: At the end of each congress day, a bus shuttle will transport delegates from Baron's Hall to the city centre / Metro Station “Batalha”. Kindly refrain from calling an Uber to Baron's Hall at the end of the day to avoid traffic congestion at the venue.

Moving around in Porto: For getting around the city, we recommend Uber as the preferred option. With its efficient coverage and absolutely affordable fares, Uber offers a convenient and reliable way to navigate Porto's bustling streets. Please provide drivers with the following address: Rua Azevedo Magalhães, nr 414 - ZIP CODE 4431-952 – City of Vila Nova de Gaia.

How to get from the airport to the city centre:

Metro: You can easily get to the airport or to the city centre by metro. Line E (Purple) runs every 20 or 30 minutes, depending on the time and day of the week. For details on the route or schedule, please check https://www.metrodoporto.pt/

Buses: There are also two bus providers available to reach the city centre by bus: STCP and Resende provide bus connections from the airport to various areas of the city.

Taxi Ranks at the Airport

Alternatively, you can also take one of the taxis in front of the airport. Taxis circulate 24/7 all throughout the city, and are always available at taxi ranks. A ride to the city centre takes about 30 minutes an costs around 25€.
